I was recently asked to photograph the ribbon-cutting ceremony of a new playground at one of our local schools, only it’s not just any school. It is an all-inclusive playground!
This brand new playspace is a haven for kids of all ages and abilities, so that at recess, on the weekends, kids can interact side by side, in a fun and safe environment.
A contest in the spring determined the class that would actually get to cut the ribbon!.jpg)
You know it’s a big achievement when the mayor is in attendance!.jpg)
This playground happened because of kindness, because of community, and because of determination. This playground is truly a job well done..jpg)

Please, please do not forget to get in the picture this weekend.
As my kiddos get older, I find opportunities to recreate earlier photos. I’m a sucker for traditions, and I’m a sucker for anything that helps me chronicle the wonder of these two amazing beings. I have journals and photo albums and art and snippets because after almost nine years, I know you might someday forget all the little stuff..jpg)
