Mairead | Eden Prairie, Minnesota Senior Portrait Photographer

It is so fun to capture a new face, perhaps even more so when it is a senior embarking on that final year of high school!

Mairead’s dad has an art studio in the Northrup King Building in Minneapolis, which is where most of our session took place. The grounds have old brick, metal, peeling paint, warm goldenrod – all sorts of textures that make for amazing backgrounds for senior portraits.

This girl was so hard to photograph, I mean she just never smiles or lights up at all. Goodness.

Late summer is a beautiful time to photograph seniors in Minneapolis – the light is so lovely and turns everything golden.

Mairead picked out this spot herself, such an awesome texture for a full-length shot.

As a photographer, I love meeting new families, but I really, really loved my time with this family. Mairead has such a lovely spirit and I was so impressed with her kindness and grace in the short time I spent with her – I think these things come across in her portraits.
