Olivia | Mounds View High School Class of 2022

Seeing these kids that I’ve known since my own kids were babies grow up into official high school seniors with college plans should make me feel old but it’s really making me feel so proud of them and just amazed.

This girl is going to go out into the world and make music because she plays approximately twenty-five instruments. Alright, perhaps that’s a tiny exaggeration, but she’s just brimming with talent and some university is going to be lucky to snatch her up.

Have an awesome senior year, Olivia!

Wes | Mounds View Senior Class of 2022

So many sessions these days are seniors, and there are so many reasons seniors are awesome. The best reason is that they are about to embark on the biggest year of high school, and you get to spend just a bit of time with them right at the beginning of it.

Hayley | Mounds View Senior Photographer

There is a special kind of joy to photograph a senior just weeks before she wears that cap and gown, a relief that the end is near and a new beginning just around the corner. It was truly an honor to be spend time with Hayley so close to graduation, as she gets ready to set out toward realizing her dream of becoming a nurse.

December gifts | New Brighton family photographer

December in Minnesota can be many things.

Cold, as in below zero.

Snowy, as in we don’t remember what the world looked like before it was white everywhere.

Or, in rare years, an extension of fall, mostly exempt of color, waiting to see what winter will come.

This December photos are a gift, the blessing of all family members home.

Brothers | Shoreview family photographer

There is something about photographing kiddos that I’ve seen grow from babies. These particular brothers are the same ages as my own kids, which makes me even more sentimental about capturing them as they are right now. Doing senior photos this season as well as families, I see what a difference it is from sophomore to senior, from seventh grader to first day of high school, and yet it is literally right around the corner. It is truly an honor to freeze time for their mama, if only for a moment.
